I got the complete set of these 4 volumes recently and I have flicked through the whole set. I am quite impressed. It seems to be fairly well written from a king of apologetic perspective, which means it is not too "theological" if you know what I mean.
It seems to be premillenial, broadly evangelical (a bit too wide for my complete aproval) and very bible based.
My main criticism so far, is that he slags of the KJV only veiw from a fairly biased and unbalanced perspective. He doesn't even mention Waite, Hills, or Burgon and the defense of the KJV from a Recieved text perspective or even go into such textual issues. I think the issue of final authority will increase as postmodernism increases and marginalising the textual issue as if 400 bibles in English and about 40 different printed Greek texts are all equally and truely the word of God won't cut it. Neither will the original manuscripts scam. For more info on that look up Edward F Hills, G A Riplinger or Dean J W Burgon!
Apart from that it seems to be OK and a resource that will be of great use to God's people as they seek to serve the LORD.Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved! Amen
